Affordable Legal Advice - Monthly Fixed Fee Retainer
Monthly Fixed Fee Retainer For Affordable Legal Advice
Sometimes the most affordable legal advice is actually a monthly fixed fee retainer.
What is involved with a fixed fee retainer?
Depending on the nature of your business, we devise a retainer that best suits your needs, starting from £200 plus VAT per month. Our affordable legal advice provides for one hour of advice, to discuss any issue that may arise on a monthly basis.
How does a fixed fee retainer work?
Once you enter into a retainer with us, you are free to ask whatever questions you require and seek whatever advice necessary as frequently as you need, for the amount of time allocated each month to you. Whenever the need arises – you just pick up the phone and we will be on hand to assist.
What do I get for my money?
A solicitor on hand to advise you whenever the need arises – you can pick up the phone any time and speak to us as frequently as you like, for the amount of time agreed with you when entering into the retainer with you.
If I’ve already called you and something then crops up can I call you again?
Yes – you can speak to us as often as you need, for the amount of time agreed when entering into the retainer with you.
What happens if I need more time, than what is contained within my retainer?
If your query is more complex and you require additional time to obtain the advice you need, we can either agree a fixed fee to deal with the specific issue over and above the time that remains available to you for that month or we can proceed to advise you based upon our hourly rate fee structure. Please see our fixed fee options or our agreed hourly rate structure. (Opens Gov.uk website)
Can I increase the amount of time required each month once I have entered into a retainer with you?
Yes. If after entering into a retainer with us, you decide that you need more time each month than was initially agreed, we can look to increase the time allocated to you. All you need to do, is let us know how much more time you need per month and we will provide a quote for the additional time required.
How long is the retainer for?
We are happy to work with you in order to tailor the retainer to meet your needs, not only in terms of the amount of time you require each month but also over what period. We can look to agree a fixed period retainer, namely 6 or 12 months or we can agree a rolling retainer, whereby both parties are entitled to serve notice to terminate the retainer at any point.
