How We Charge – Legal Fees Broken Down
You may have heard it before but genuinely, we listen to clients and work with you, in terms of determining the best charging method and structure that best suits your needs. Our legal fees reflect our no nonsense approach.
Fixed Fees
We offer fixed fees for both contentious work and project specific work. If there is a specific issue you need addressing, we can provide a fixed fee.
Monthly Fixed Fee Retainer
Have you ever needed to just run something past a lawyer – We offer a fixed monthly retainer, starting from £200 plus VAT per month for you to seek legal advice on any issue that may crop up. Yep, we’re on hand – without you having to provide ID and money on account in order to open a new file each time you require to get the advice that you need.
Hourly Rates
If you would prefer to pay on a time spent basis, all of our hourly rates are based upon the level experience of the fee earner involved dealing with your matter.
Depending upon the experience of the fee earner involved our hourly rates are as follows:-
Director – Grade A – £295 plus VAT per hour (business) & £325 plus VAT (private clients)
Associate Solicitor – Grade B – £255 plus VAT per hour
Assistant Solicitor – Grade C – £225 plus VAT per hour

NB: – VAT is charged on all fees at the prevailing rate of 20%
Consultancy Rate
Depending upon the services required, we can enter into a Consultancy agreement with you, whereby we work within your business for a fixed and specified amount of time per week or month. By working as a consultant, we can work alongside and become an integral part of your business, providing the service required, especially in terms of our Virtual-In House Complaints Manager, Compliance and Practice Manager and NED services.
